Reiki is a healing art with its roots in Japanese origin, using light touch to channel life-force energy to help relax body, mind and spirit and restore positive well-being.  Learn Usui Reiki Levels I & II, using the curriculum set forth by the International Center for Reiki Training!

Topics and techniques to be covered in this one-day class include:

• History of Reiki 
• Discussion of “Ki” (”chi” or life force energy) and how Reiki practitioners channel it 
• Hand positions for Reiki treatments (treating yourself and others) 
• Understanding and using Level II symbols 
• Distance healing 
• Reiki meditations, spiritual protection and “grounding” techniques

Students will receive a Reiki manual, articles on Reiki topics and a certificate of completion.  They will also become part of a supportive community, with the opportunity to meet other Reiki practitioners and participate in Reiki circles in the Atlanta and Decatur areas.

I will be on hand at Lotus of Life Chiropractic on Wednesday, March 25 from 4-7 pm to provide Reiki on a donation-only basis.  You will receive 20-25 minutes of Reiki in a soothing setting with music and aromatherapy.
