Hi Dana,

I am a 70 years old woman and I live in India. I have very bad Arthiritis pain on my knees. We hv limited and very expensive knee replacement surgeries in India. I therefore wanted to request you to do reiki for my healing. Kindly let me know what the cost would be.

Sherri,

When I wrote up this post, I was reminded of the angel session you facilitated for me some months back and how you had said you were feeling “rusty” after not facilitating them by phone for a long period of time. And as it turned out, you were able to connect very well with me and the messages you were receiving.

I agree that sometimes “getting out the way” is what makes all the difference.

Kim,
No, you didn’t tell me about the lack of pain after coming out of surgery! But it all makes sense, especially when you consider how quickly you recovered for someone who had undergone major surgery. You also had a positive outlook throughout and accepted your surgery, rather than fighting the situation and that makes a big difference too.

Thanks for letting me know – I had totally forgotten about the Reiki-infused candles I sent you after your initial diagnosis and prior to surgery. I appreciate the feedback!

I also believe that the candle you sent me prior to my surgery worked AMAZINGLY!!! Did I tell you that I was in ZERO pain when I came out of the anethesia? And I stopped taking the pain medication they gave me because, well, I didn’t have ANY pain!! I think they were just giving it to me every four hours as part of their routine! I was perfectly fine!!!

That is a wonderful story and so important to share. I have had great experiences with distance healing sessions as well. Like you, I was skeptical about my ability at first. I agree that having the time and experience in hands-on, in-person sessions helped get me stronger and more in tune with the energy so that I could better connect in the distance sessions. I have had people have amazing experiences via distance sessions, including one person who had severe and debilitating arthritis being relieved of pain to the extent that she was able to reduce her pain medicaton to 1/8 of what it has previously been. There are amazing opportunities here, and great empowerment from simply knowing that we can connect with others that way no matter where they are. It is wonderful validation for the idea that we are all ONE and are all connected.

On an intuitive level, I sometimes feel that I connect better via distance. Maybe it is just easier to “get out of the way” in a distance session!
